Bro. Michael "Mike" Glenn serves as Senior Pastor

Bro. Mike became a member of God's family by faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, at Ridgecrest Baptist Assembly in North Carolina.  He and his wife, Jan, joined our church family in April 2006.  Bro. "Mike" is an Alabama native and Jan is from Florida.

Bro. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Montevallo.  He has a Master of Divinity Degree from New Orleans Seminary and worked toward a Doctorate of Divinity Degree. Bro Mike also holds a teaching certificate.

Some previous pastorates include Dolomite Baptist, Dolomite, AL; First Baptist, Double Springs, AL; First Baptist, Lillian, AL; First Baptist, Spanish Fort, AL; Liberty Baptist, Liberty, MS; Pelahatchie Baptist, Pelahatchie, MS.

Bro. Mike is a veteran of the Air Force.  He has served as an volunteer hospital chaplain and began a hospital chaplaincy program in Mississippi.

Bro. Mike and his wife Jan have one daughter who is presently attending the Southern Baptist Seminary in Canada.

Among his hobbies are fishing, hunting, golf, collecting old bottles and fishing lures.  He also enjoys growing roses. Jan enjoys working in the yard and reading.

He has also spoken on alcohol, drugs, etc. in Alabama on behalf of ALCAP (Alabama Citizens' Action Program). He will be certified as a Disaster Relief chaplain this summer.
